Shingles

Architectural Fibreglass Shingles

Also known as laminated shingles due to their thick profile, architectural asphalt shingles have become the most popular roofing product in the last few years due to their durability, designer looks and economic price point. There are several shingle suppliers offering a wide variety of color options and styles. Architectural shingles are designed to mimic the thick appearance of classic wood shakes. The unique color blends of these shingles will enhance the overall curb appeal of any home or commercial building.

SBS Laminated Shingles (Class 4 Impact Resistant)

SBS shingles (polymer modified shingles) are given a class 4 impact resistance rating against hail and provide superior granular adhesion and retention. These “rubberized” shingles have a better resistance in harsh climates due to the more pliable nature of their asphalt. Many insurance companies provide homeowners with insurance premium discounts if installing SBS shingles with a class 4 impact rating.

3-Tab Shingles

Tradition 3-tab shingles have been on the market for over a century. The original organic (paper based) shingles have recently been replaced with a fiberglass mat in the centre to improve tear strength values and prevent curling.
